Who we are…

Hollyhock’s Handyman is owned and operated by myself, Brian Hoch. I am husband to an incredible woman and father to eight grown children and 20 grandchildren! I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and staying involved in church ministry. I have many years of construction experience, both superintending and in the trades and I take a great deal of pride in my work. I created Hollyhock’s Handyman because I love to meet people, help them, and serve our local community through handyman repair and restoration. Whether it be for your home or your business, we are committed to providing honest estimates, conducting professional and thorough work, delivering excellent results—and being cheerful while doing it!

“Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet?”

Although our last name is a common German word (Hoch, rhyming with ‘smoke’) it is usually pronounced ‘Hock’. Since my wife’s name is Holly, it seems a nice play on words to call the company by her name. So, while the Bard may be right in that a rose will always smell sweet, a Hollyhock is always sweeter!
